The Pittsburgh Steelers announced Friday that they released center Mason Cole.
The cost-cutting move saves Pittsburgh $4.75 million -- Cole's $3.25 million salary for 2024 and a $1.5 million roster bonus. The Steelers began Friday just $8.47 million under the salary cap.
Cole, who turns 28 next month, started all 34 regular-season games Buy c plus capsule one playoff game during his two seasons with the Steelers.
