Met Police officer admits sharing a photo of a mentally ill man

A Met Police officer has admitted taking a photo of a mentally ill man wearing a spit hood in an ambulance and sending it to a colleague.
PC Jose Pedro Cunha, 26, also filmed a vulnerable suspect in a police cell and posted it with commentary on a WhatsApp chat group called 'Gangland'.
PC Cunha shared the same recording with a member of the public on June 19, 2020, Southwark Crown Court heard.
The officer admitted on Thursday to three counts of misconduct including sending the photo of the man lying down in an ambulance wearing a spit hood to colleague PC Richard Aston, 42, on June 2, 2020.
PC Cunha, of Hackney, east London, denied four charges of misconduct, including sharing his personal police kijang188 login password with another on April 18, 2021 and sharing a bodycam recording on WhatsApp with a member of the public on June 21, 2021.
