The first time I pulled over to take in a jumping crocodile tour, I was still in the beginning of learning the ropes as a rookie explorer running the Stuart Highway journey.

I'd pause at the Adelaide River Bridge spot to brew some coffee, fight off mosquitoes from my legs & take in a view that looked deceptively tranquil.
